I chose to have newborn photos done with both of my children, and I can easily say those images are so very treasured in our family. Now that my kids are bit older, they even love to look back them and see how tiny and cute they were.

“What should I look for when hiring a newborn photographer?”

It's important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and has experience working with infants. I have years of experience working with newborns and their families. I'm dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I take pride in creating beautiful, timeless memories that you'll cherish for years to come.

“What can I expect during a newborn photography session?”

During a newborn photography session, I'll work to create a comfortable and safe environment for your baby, and guide you through the posing process. You can include your family members in the photos, and I encourage parents and siblings to participate in this special moment. If you have any specific poses or props in mind, I'm always happy to incorporate your ideas and preferences into the session.

To capture the best moments, it's important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as possible, ideally within the first two weeks of your baby's life. I recommend booking your session as soon as possible during your pregnancy to ensure I have availability around your estimated due date.

During your newborn session, we will go with your baby's flow. If we need to stop to change, feed, or soothe, we make plenty of space for that to happen. I carve out around 2-3 hours for these sessions to allow for this and to provide a slow easy going session that isn't rushed for your family or your little one. This also gives room for lots of variety of images in your gallery and time for siblings to warm up to the idea of participating in the session.

“Do I need to buy anything for the session?”

You don't need to provide much for the session. I encourage you to think of a few personal items that you would like to incorporate into the photos, like a special blanket or toy (this is optional)! I always bring dresses for mamas, wraps, outfits, blankets, and some light props to all my sessions. I love sessions in your home, because not only is it sentimental, but adds such a personal and unique touch to your images that transport you right back to those precious moments.

“When will I get my photos?”

After the session, you can expect to receive the final edited photos within 2-3 weeks. Within 48 hours you will receive sneak peeks from our session. I offer a range of packages that include digital files. Additional images can always be purchased after you receive your final gallery.

“How much does newborn photography cost?”

Newborn photography sessions can range from $500 to $3,000, depending on the package. I know this might seem like a significant investment, but keep in mind that newborn photography is a specialized service that requires a lot of time, effort, and equipment. I'm dedicated to providing high-quality images & products that you'll cherish for a lifetime!

I offer two package options for newborn sessions. You can choose a package that includes 30 digital files of your choice from the gallery, or a package that includes all the digital files from your session.
